Roustabout Supervisor – Facilities Construction

West Penn Energy Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Roustabout Supervisor to lead a facilities construction crew on oil and gas job sites. This leadership role requires strong field knowledge, the ability to manage jobs and timelines, and a hands-on approach to resource planning, crew productivity, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and builds strong working relationships with client representatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise roustabout crews performing facility construction, equipment setting, piping, welding support, and site prep
- Coordinate daily job tasks and crew assignments to ensure timely, efficient, and quality completion of projects
- Maintain open, professional communication with client company representatives and ensure expectations are met
- Monitor project timelines, material needs, and labor resources; adjust plans and priorities as needed
- Enforce safety procedures and conduct daily safety briefings and hazard assessments
- Oversee equipment use and maintenance, ensuring proper operation and minimizing downtime
- Maintain accurate job site documentation, including daily reports, JSAs, and progress tracking
- Serve as the main point of contact between operations leadership and the field crew
- Foster a team-oriented work environment, promoting accountability and field-level leadership
- Minimum 3 years of experience in roustabout or oilfield facility construction
- Previous supervisory or foreman experience is required
- Strong understanding of oilfield construction processes, including facility layout, pipefitting, and mechanical assembly
- Proven ability to manage resources and project timelines effectively
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with both field teams and client reps
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt quickly in the field
- Basic knowledge of environmental and safety regulations
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Comfortable working outdoors in physically demanding environments and varying conditions
