Water Truck Driver / Utility Field Laborer (CDL Class B)

Position Overview:
West Penn Energy Services is hiring a versatile and safety-conscious Water Truck Driver / Utility Field Laborer. This position is ideal for a hands-on candidate with a Class B CDL who is comfortable working in the field and shop environments. The primary responsibility will be operating a water truck to support construction and pipeline operations. When not driving, the employee may assist with roustabout work, general site tasks, or shop labor as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Water Truck Operations
☐ Safely operate water truck for dust control, compaction, and site maintenance
☐ Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
☐ Monitor water levels, manage water flow, and maintain equipment cleanliness
☐ Comply with DOT and company safety standards
☐ Communicate with dispatch and site supervisors for daily routing and needs
Utility Field Labor & Support
☐ Assist with general roustabout work (site cleanup, equipment setup, manual labor)
☐ Support pipeline and facility crews as directed
☐ Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks around the shop and yard
☐ Operate basic hand and power tools as needed
☐ Follow all safety protocols and report hazards immediately
Qualifications:
- Valid Class B CDL required (Class A preferred)
- Tanker endorsement is a plus
- Experience operating a water truck or similar equipment is preferred
- Must pass pre-employment and ongoing drug & alcohol screenings
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to take direction
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
