Job Title: IT Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Specialist to help manage and maintain our internal systems, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and support ongoing improvements in cybersecurity and infrastructure reliability.
Position Overview:
The IT Specialist will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all aspects of the company's IT environment, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, and user support. This role will involve both hands-on troubleshooting and strategic system management. Experience with Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) and Microsoft Intune is strongly preferred, as we continue to expand our cloud-based security and device management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other hardware—including security camera systems.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and group policies via Microsoft Entra.
- Deploy, manage, and secure devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Support and maintain networking hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, security cameras, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Maintain and support Office 365 and other core business applications.
- Monitor systems for performance, security, and backups.
- Respond to informal requests and walk-up troubleshooting needs from employees across departments.
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in IT-related projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Intune for device and policy management.
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Understanding of network security principles and tools (firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, etc.).
- Proficiency with Office 365 administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across hardware and software.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of IT support or system administration experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified: Intune Administrator, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
