VP of Information Technology is responsible for supervising the IT staff and ensuring all security requirements and high-level IT requirements for WPAOG are met to include PCI compliance, vendor management, IT budget management, IT strategic planning to better enable business operations, change management and the maintenance of IT policies and procedures to support business needs, and information security incident management.

Information Systems Program Management
- Exercises program responsibility for formulation, development, preparation, presentation, and administration of information systems objectives, policies, programs, plans, and projects for the WPAOG.
- Ensures effective integration of plans, programs, and operations encompassing a wide range of information systems/functional components, including all automation facilities/equipment, databases, networks, phone systems, internet resources, and copiers.
- Manages the implementation of approved programs and projects.
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors, including vendor selection for projects, contract negotiations, and renewals, and maintain good strategic relations.
- Supervises direct reports and maintains awareness of current and upcoming projects and tasks. Conducts weekly team meetings to level set everyone on project statuses, high-profile challenges, and events affecting the department.
- Manages departmental-level administrative tasks, such as performance evaluations and other HR-related tasks, and prepares the annual budget submission.
- Manages relationships with other departments at the VP level, with the Board of Directors, and with the IT Committee of the Board.
- The applicant should have a broad and practical understanding of modern networking technologies, the Microsoft M365 and Azure offerings, and the physical layer of IT infrastructure. A background in the non-profit sphere and an understanding of fundraising. Familiarity with Blackbaud products would be a plus.
