What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Vehicle Repair Specialist position at West Point Ford, Inc?
We are seeking an Advanced Vehicle Repair Specialist to join our team at West Point Ford, Inc. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will travel to customer workplaces and homes in our well-maintained Mobile Service van to handle basic service needs and recalls.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer experiences that drive loyalty and satisfaction
- Engage with diverse customers daily, representing the dealership with professionalism
- Organize and prepare for appointments, ensuring efficient use of time
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance work as outlined on repair orders in a clean and organized manner
- Communicate effectively with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication
- Accurately document vehicle repairs and work performed on repair orders
- Stay informed about Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
- Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions and maintain a company vehicle responsibly
Qualifications:
- Detailed-oriented and organized approach to work
- ASE/Manufacturer certifications, with Ford certifications desirable but not mandatory
- Previous Service Technician experience preferred
- Strong use of technological devices, including tablets
