West Quality operates 50 to 60 restaurants, and the Staff Accountant is responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Overseeing the general ledger and management
- Manage accountant payables
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Managing financial records
- Compliance with state and federal tax laws
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare documents for audits
- Conduct period-end and year end closing
- Understand coding invoices
- Analyze internal procedures
- Financial reporting
- P&L and asset management – which includes but is not limited to Sales, Labor, F&P, OMC management
- Building a FUN recognition culture that models the corporate mission and culture for our office
- Coaches our team daily to ensure compliance with the standards
- Build Strong teams in the office to deliver quarterly results to the field
- Engaging in clear, consistent communications with field leadership and upper management
- Demonstrate the highest level of integrity, respect for individual employees, and showing appreciation for their efforts
- Building an effective team of employees through, training and development; supplying meaningful and timely performance feedback
- Ensuring the compliance of company policies and procedures regarding (assets, cash, etc.)
Our Ideal Candidate must have/be:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Be Self-motivated and Hungry for success
- Have consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and performance
- Ensuring compliance with preparation for audits
- Hold them self and their team to the highest standard, and always maintain the policies and procedures prescribed by the Company
- Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Possess strong supervisory and organizational skills
- Be able to interact easily with diverse employees
- Be knowledgeable of and have the ability to use a PC and MS Office Suite proficiently
