Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist for our weekend PRN position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive nutrition plans of care for residents, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring timely documentation of nutrition assessments and interventions.
Responsibilities
- Advise on clinical aspects of nutrition care, adhering to regulatory standards and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop personalized nutrition plans of care for residents.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of nutrition assessment tools, recommended interventions, and follow-up actions.
- Address nutrition concerns with the interdisciplinary team and provide education to residents, family members, and caregivers.
- Monitor all aspects of the nutrition care delivery process to ensure clinical excellence.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A registered dietitian (RD) or licensed dietitian (LD) credential, as required by the state of employment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or consulting dietitian experience preferred.
