Job Description
Travel OB float to Medsurg RN is needed for 13-20 weeks to start ASAP in a hospital in North Dakota. The OB RN will be expected to float to the Medsurg when the OB is empty (which is frequently). Shifts consist of 7-7, mostly days but possibly a few nights as well. They will also work weekends as needed by the hospital. Holiday Requirement - Will work them if needed. Certifications required - BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Number of beds - 17 Medsurg beds. Nurse to Patient Ratios - Often 4 : 1 highest being 6 : 1. There is no floating or call. EMR system used - MediTech. Medication system used - Omnicell. Pharmacy Tech - Yes Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and Tele-pharmacy 24 / 7. Scrub colors - Any color.
