What are the responsibilities and job description for the English as a New Language (ESL/ENL)-Substitute position at West Seneca Central School District?
The West Seneca Central School District is seeking an ENL Substitute Teacher to teach English as a New Language to Northwood Elementary School students. This assignment will include integrated co-teaching in ELA as well as stand-alone instruction and push in and pull out services as per mandates. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with students at grade levels K-5.
This position is a full-time, substitute appointment anticipated to begin as soon as possible through a date to be determined. This position could extend to a long-term substitute appointment with salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teacher's Association's collective bargaining agreement, commensurate and prorated to the appointment time frame.
Job Qualifications
Required Certification(s): Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages(TESOL)
Preferred Additional Certification(s): Childhood Education B-6
