What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (Speech Teacher) -Substitute position at West Seneca Central Schools?
The West Seneca Central School District is currently seeking a substitute for a Speech Teacher at the middle school level. This will be a full-time, temporary appointment beginning immediately through a date to be determined, for an individual who holds certification in the Speech tenure area.
This position could extend to a long-term substitute appointment with salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teacher's Association's collective bargaining agreement, commensurate and prorated to the appointment time frame.
Roles :
- Speech teacher working across all levels - K through 12, ensuring educational relevance in general education and special education classrooms
- Providing Speech Language therapy to students
- Serving a wide range of disorders (speech sound disorders, language, fluency)
- Highlighting language / literacy and culturally competent services
- Role may include, but not limited to, working with students in the home / non-public buildings or sites outside the school campus.

Previous completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
