Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.
Duties
- Support children's learning in areas such as literacy education, math, and social skills.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Help manage classroom behavior by implementing effective behavior management strategies.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher on individual needs.
- Engage with children during activities to promote their development and understanding of concepts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Requirements
- Experience or education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Understanding of childhood development stages and effective teaching strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
