The West Shore Country Club Dining Room Host ensures members and guests feel welcome and attended to as they enter the Club's dining areas, call for reservations or place take out orders. Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Dining Room Host is crucial in maintaining a positive and inviting atmosphere for members and guests.
Starting Wage: $14.00 - $15.00/ hour (Based on experience)
Dining Room Host: Part-time (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday evening) < 30 hours per week
Job Duties:
- Welcome and greet members and guests.
- Conduct daily inspections of all tables and chairs to ensure they are in proper condition and appearance.
- Immediately report member and guests issues to a Supervisor.
- Ensure that all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are in place and adhered to consistently.
- Conduct regular inspections of the dining rooms to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure that pre-opening cleaning tasks are assigned and completed as required.
- Assist with service of food and beverages when needed.
- Assist with table clearing and re-setting as needed.
- Receive and places take out orders.
- Attend pre-service employee briefings (line-up meetings) as related to sections and member preferences.
- Ensure that local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
- Complete other appropriate assignments.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work flexible hours (days/nights/weekends)
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs., bend, walk, and stand for duration of work shift
- Must be able to follow directions and have attention to details
- Must be able to work individually and in a team capacity
- Experience is not required but a Fun, Welcoming, and Personable Personality is a MUST!
