What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian III (High School daytime) position at West Shore School District?
The Custodian III position at Cedar Cliff High School is available for the 2024-2025 school year. It is a Level 3, 8 hours per day, 249 days per year position. Work hours are first shift, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with altered hours and extra time as needed and approved. Minimum pay rate is $17.75 per hour.
Must possess a high school diploma and Class C driver's license with no repeated motor vehicle violations for the previous three years. Must be able to perform routine tasks without direct supervision.
Knowledge and ability to perform job function: Maintains assigned area in highest state of repair and cleanliness for the success of our students. Ability to perform light building maintenance such as lamp and ballast replacement. Perform general cleaning duties and operate custodial cleaning equipment. Complete special event setups and teardowns. Ability to work outside to perform landscaping and athletic field preparations. Operate lawnmower, snow blower, string trimmer, auto scrubber and other common hand tools. Able to occasionally lift 80 pounds and occasionally work at heights of 30 feet.
