The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance and repairs, including grounds work, electrical maintenance, and plumbing maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct unit preparation for new move-ins, including necessary repairs and renovations.
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including cleaning up grounds and blowing breezeways.
- Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate project completion and efficient workflow.
- Carry out minor electrical maintenance, including fixture replacement and repair.
- Conduct minor plumbing maintenance, including drain unclogging and line installation.
- Complete minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work, including surface preparation and finish application.
- Diagnose problems and repair or replace parts, testing and adjusting HVAC systems as needed.
- Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs.
- Study equipment manuals to ensure accurate maintenance and service performance.
- Address emergency situations promptly, both during and after regular working hours.
