Job description
West Side Beer Distributing is searching to fill our open part timeShelf Set Coordinator position. Merchandisers drive their own vehicle, but are provided with a weekly car allowance and gas card. West Side Beer also offers competitive benefits! Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Starting pay rate is $17.25/hr. After 90 days, pay rate will be $17.75/hr. You would get a gas card and a $20 a week auto allowance paid bi-weekly.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for all shelf set/space management objectives established by the company, suppliers and
retailers. Duties include the planning/development and implementation of customized schematics for
designated accounts. Rotate and stock cases on shelves, coolers, racks, and bins with product and
arrange and build product displays to attract customers. Assist or take lead on completing
chain(National Accounts) resets seasonally as needed required based on the chain schedules. Can be
responsible to merchandise retail accounts, fill shelves, rotate, and build displays etc. Responsible for
adhering to company policies, procedures, MLCC guidelines and supplier agreements.

Rotate and stock shelves after a reset is complete.

Reset shelf tags, merchandising elements, cooler sticks and pricing as needed during the reset
process.
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning.
Set up advertising signs and displays of product on shelves and counters to attract customers to
promote sales.
Complete product and development training as required.
Communicate appropriate information related to inventory and customer service needs to Sales
Support Manager.
Know and understand all competitive pricing.
Maintain positive customer relations.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Certificates & Licenses: Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC); Valid Driver’s Licenses.
Other Requirements: Must pass physical, drug screen, background check and motor vehicle report
must meet insurance company guidelines.
