School Bus Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing safe and reliable transportation for children to and from school ensuring a positive experience for all passengers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to educate passengers about safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus to transport children to school.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, parents, or guardians regarding schedules and safety procedures.
• Educate passengers on safety rules and regulations while on the bus.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly to management.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving.
• Previous experience in school bus driving.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and bus coordinator.
• Ability to educate passengers about safety protocols in an engaging manner.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring the safety of all passengers.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
