Position Summary: We’re looking for a Regional Product Support Manager to drive our aftermarket business and be the go-to leader for Parts and Service Branch Operations in an assigned territory. Key Responsibilities:
- Solve problems, fast. Collaborate with the Product Support Leadership Team to craft and execute innovative aftermarket strategies. Tackle complex product support issues, ensuring top-notch solutions and satisfaction.
- Build unstoppable teams. Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the Parts and Service Departments.
- Streamline and strengthen. Standardize processes that make life easier for customers and team members alike.
- Set the bar high—and reach it. Directly manage Parts and Service Managers at assigned branches, ensuring effective leadership and support. Establish and monitor ambitious goals and budgets that align with company objectives.
- Spread the word. Drive Parts and Service marketing plans to keep goals on track.
- Communicate clearly and often. Keep customers, internal teams, and John Deere in the loop.
- Keep safety first. Champion West Side’s Safety Program.
- Do what it takes. Jump in where needed to keep things running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 years of experience managing Service and/or Parts Department operations, with a strong preference for knowledge of heavy equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a large team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Sharp financial instincts to guide department operations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
- Data-driven decision-maker who can turn reports into action.
- Proficiency in using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and work flexible hours as needed.
- Most importantly: a solution-driven mindset that thrives on opportunities and challenges.
