Special Education Paraprofessional-Inclusion
WSMS
- Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning.
- Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students
- Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned
- Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher
- Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher's philosophy in the area of discipline and Instruction
- Other duties as may be assigned
-Experience working with special needs students preferred
Qualifications:
-Associates Degree or 48 college credits attained or Workkeys, Associate degree preferred.
-Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
-Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
-Experience working with children who have social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities is a plus
Salary: Per Unit D Contract
