Payroll/HR Analyst
The School Payroll/HR Analyst is responsible for tracking, analyzing and preparing bi-weekly payroll and attendance reports for School Department employees, specializing in the analysis and application of union/association and individual contract provisions. The School Payroll/HR Analyst will also assist the Human Resources Department in general administrative operations. The Payroll/HR Analyst participates in analyzing, preparing, processing and updating the School Department payrolls. Assists the School Business Manager and the School Attorney in collective bargaining preparation, including but not limited to, contract analysis and cost projections. Prepares related reports for federal and state agencies as required. The employee is required to perform all similar or related duties.

-Tracking, analyzing and preparation of School Department payroll in coordination with schools and departmental personnel, ensuring accuracy of pay rates and hours.
-Appropriately applies contract provision to employee’s bi-weekly pay (i.e. overtime, longevity, etc.)
-Processes periodic payments such as 1/7th additional classes, longevity, attendance incentives, etc. based on current collective bargaining agreements
-Calculates and implements employee pay calculations for new hires, leaves of absence, and separations
-Processes stipends/additional pay in accordance with Collective Bargaining/Individual contracts
-Assists with payroll budget projections as necessary for the preparation of departmental annual budgets
-Monitors time sheets for accuracy and notifies employees each pay period to enter time and/or make corrections as needed
-Accurately obtains and inputs attendance information into payroll system on a bi-weekly basis
-Prepares weekly reporting for the School Department to assist the departments in the maintenance of their respective financial records
-Alerts departmental supervisors and the Human Resource Department of any payroll and/or attendance issues
-Prepares Employee Change Forms as required
-Assists the School Business Manager and the School Attorney in collective bargaining preparation, including but not limited to, contract analysis and cost projections
-Provide general support of the time management system and substitute management system
-Assist the Human Resources Department in general administrative operations
-Assists in other Business Office duties as required by the School Business Manager or his/her designee
Salary: Per WSSCEA Contract S-9
Schedule: 12 months, 40 hours/week
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
