Adjustment CounselorWest Springfield Middle SchoolDuties: -Provide group and individual counseling services-Design and deliver tiered supports and interventions-Case management services for an assigned caseload-Collaborate and consult with school personnel on topics related to social/emotional learning and mental health issues-Provide crisis intervention when needed-Family communication and collaboration as part of service delivery planning and services-Collaborate and consult with teachers and related service personnel regarding strategies and interventions appropriate for students and communication regarding progress monitoring-Maintain contact with outside providers and agencies to facilitate a comprehensive approach to the students service delivery-Develop individual student goals and benchmarks, collect and analyze data, and prepare progress reports-Other Duties and Responsibilities: -IEP assessments, goal writing, and progress reports as needed-Perform other related duties as required-Participate in and maintain QBS Safety Care certification-Self-harm and threat assessment screenings as indicatedQualifications: -Licensed School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker-Knowledge of community resources-In-depth knowledge of child development and wrap-around interventions to support students social-emotional needs-Strong organizational and team skills-Has experience working with diverse students-Demonstrates the ability to support families and parents as well as teachers with student needs-Demonstrates knowledge of mental health and family systems-Bilingual encouraged to apply-Diverse applicants encouraged to applySalary: Per Unit A Contract
