What you can expect as a Quality Control Administrative Assistant at West Star:
This position provides administrative support for the Quality Control department and Service Hub Management. It requires strong organization and attention to detail, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Office 365 applications (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and others), and strong interpersonal skills. One of the main duties of this position will be reviewing work orders for completion, accuracy, and proper documentation. However, job duties may vary each day.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS, including:
- Maintaining and updating the schedule for QC personnel as required.
- Assisting the Quality Control Inspectors with aircraft logbook entry creation, collecting, verifying, and organizing all necessary documentation for the completion of work order packages.
- Reviewing work orders for completion, accuracy, and proper documentation.
- Organizing maintenance documentation into an established standardized format for ease of review.
- Data entry into the Corridor Aviation Maintenance Program and other databases.
- Maintaining and updating roster data.
- Assisting with tool and equipment inventory control and calibration.
- Being thoroughly familiar with the Repair Station Quality Manual.
- Fostering and maintaining professional relationships with customers and fleet operators, coworkers, suppliers, vendors, and others.
- Assisting the Quality Control Inspectors with pre- and post-delivery inventories, log entry creation, and data entry as needed.
- Word processing and preparation of letters and other documents assigned.
- Communicating effectively (i.e., speaking, writing, reading) in English.
- Performing additional duties as needed by the Quality Manager and Service Hub Management.
What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
Your Experience
Prior experience reviewing aircraft maintenance records is preferred.
2 years of office administration experience, preferably with Corridor Aviation software.
Word processing, typing, and 10-key by touch are required.

This person will need to have strong attention to detail, be well-organized, and be able to prioritize workload efficiently.
Your Sense of Responsibility:
Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments.
Be able to travel, work weekends, overtime, and any shift as required.
Notify the supervisor in advance of a shift starting if unable to work.
Must have reliable transportation to get to work every day.
Must perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
Follow all company and safety rules during the performance of duties.
Maintain customer-oriented work habits.

Office equipment includes copiers, printers, scanners, etc.
Personal computer operates with Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and various other programs.
