What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician position at WEST STAR AVIATION?
Job Description:
- Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience as Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Mechanic.
- Must have Airframe & Powerplant License. Must share copy of A&P License or A&P License number.
- Must be available to work on ANY shift.
- Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components,
- Troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system/component issues
- De-fueling aircraft,
- Engine removal/installations,
- Operating ground support equipment,
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/ taxiing
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling
- Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
