Working Pattern : Full time, 37 hours
Contract Length : Fixed term to 31 / 03 / 2025 and funding extension to 31 / 03 / 2026 in process of being secured
Location : Horsham office base with hybrid working available, and access to West Sussex County Council offices across the county.

This role is integral to the effective delivery of this complex time limited programme across Sussex. You will work as part of a small Programme team who coordinate system change projects and oversee high quality service delivery to improve the life situation of adults who face multiple disadvantage.
The Project Delivery Officers are a key component of the Changing Futures Programme Team, providing a strong link from their respective Local Authority hosts to the Programme Team and vice versa.
Reporting to the Deputy Changing Futures Programme Manager but hosted within the designated area council, they will be responsible for practical implementation of elements of the programme’s action plan local partner organisations within their designated area. This will be either East Sussex, West Sussex or Brighton & Hove, but flexibility will be expected during periods of annual leave or absence, and they will need to be responsive to the needs of both the programme and local authority host.
The role is varied but includes the management of internal relationships and coordination of internal stakeholder communications, participation in relevant partnership forums, and data collection, as well as participation in programme working groups and implementation of programme initiatives and workstreams.
The ability to manage your workload as part of a fast paced environment whilst remaining flexible to the needs of the wider team, and have the ability to identify and manage problems, and form resolutions; both independently and with the support of others is essential.
