West Texas Centers is searching for highly motivated individuals to perform on-going Service Coordinator to people served. Starting Pay: $21.84
Job Functions include assisting individuals in gaining needed services:
access to medical, social, vocational, educational
service plan development
coordination of services
service monitoring
advocacy
Will have frequent face-to-face contacts with individuals, their families, and service providers.
Requires flexible hours, involves extensive paperwork, and will require self-directed performance. Travel and the use of a personal vehicle is required.
Position Requirements:
Required:
(1) a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university or
(2) an associate degree in a social, behavioral, human service, or health-related field including, psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, gerontology, educational psychology, education, and criminal justice; or
(3) a high school diploma or a certificate recognized by a state as the equivalent of a high school diploma, and two years of paid or unpaid experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Must have and maintain a Valid Driver's License and driving record that is acceptable for insurability through our insurance carrier.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Applicants must reside within 70 mile radius of duty site
