Starting Pay: $13.34
Job Functions include:
Perform direct rehabilitative services that engage clients in activities designed to reduce the symptoms of and disabilities that result from their diagnosed mental illness and to increase the ability of the individual to function at their expected level within the community.
Perform symptom management services to assist clients with the identification and management of the symptoms of mental illness.
Duties of the position will require that the majority of interactions with individuals served, and their families be conducted outside of the traditional clinic setting.
Establish and develop appropriate consumer relationships of trust, hope and empowerment by sharing own lived experiences to facilitate achievement of consumers' defined recovery goals, and to provide community outreach.
Provide peer-to-peer services to consumers, assisting them to achieve their defined recovery goals and objectives, as part of the therapeutic support team.
Position Requirements:
Lived experience in mental health recovery to assist other adults in their mental health recovery.
Must be 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED
Travel and the use of a personal vehicle are required.
Must have a valid Texas Driver License and an acceptable driving record
Must pass background check and drug screening
