What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vocational Services Tech position at West Texas Centers?
West Texas Centers is searching for highly motivated individuals for a Vocational Service Tech. The Vocational Services Tech is responsible for training consumers in work and social related skills, to include habilitation, vocational training and supports to consumers. Staff may share responsibility with other staff or may work independently of other staff to provide daily supervision, care and training of individuals. Starting Pay:$12.90
Job Functions include:
- Provide training to all Consumers in punctuality, good work habits and work tolerance.
- Teach specific work skills to clients as needed.
- Train consumers in the performance of specific tasks related to contracts.
- Provide training to consumers in social skills.
- Monitor safety of all work environments.
- Medication monitoring.
Position Requirements:
- Required to work flexible hours and may be required to work rotating shifts.
- Must have and maintain a Valid Drivers License and driving record that is acceptable for insurability through our insurance carrier.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Applicants must reside within 70 mile radius of duty site
