The IT Support Technician provides technical assistance and support to end-users, ensures the reliability and performance of enterprise infrastructure, and assists in maintaining business applications. This role involves resolving escalated support issues, performing basic server management duties, and addressing fundamental networking tasks. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain user information including rights, security, and system groups.
- Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues, configuring network equipment, and monitoring network performance.
- Perform maintenance on servers and desktops including installing new software, upgrades, and install patches to maintain an up-to-date environment and resolve software related issues.
- Perform system backup and restore files on computers during repairs and new computer installations.
- Responsible for ensuring that all help tickets are completed promptly and efficiently.
- Participate in technology deployment projects, system upgrades, and ongoing maintenance initiatives.
- Manage basic Identity and Access Management tasks such as setting up new users, managing permissions, and supporting
- Assign hardware and software to users and maintain accurate asset inventory.
- Provide support to remote sites and users.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document procedures, solutions, and configurations accurately to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Regular use of highly complex machines and equipment; specialized or advanced software programs.
- Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors; able to work in a self-directed work team.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software modules, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must work with a minimum of supervision and be able to manage their time when given multiple tasks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows 10/11, Azure, Entra AD, Intune, Windows Autopilot, O365 Management
- Basic understanding of VMWare or similar hypervisors
Minimum Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with the company’s driving policy and insurance requirements.
- Two-year associate's degree or equivalent on the job training in specific skill area preferred.
- Two years related industry experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Travel up to 25%.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.
- Ability to work in changing climate conditions.
- Role requires on-site presence.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
