The West Texas Home Builders Association (WTHBA) seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Director of Membership to join our team. This full-time in-person position is vital to the membership management of our organization, supporting its mission of serving members and providing value-based events opportunities for the membership as a whole.

Core Functions
Membership Management
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, recruit, and onboard new members.
- Maintain ongoing communication with current members to ensure satisfaction and engagement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for membership inquiries, resolving issues promptly.
Membership Data Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member information using the association’s database system and NAHB’s WMS.
- Analyze membership data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Generate regular membership reports for the CEO and Board of Directors, including trends in recruitment, retention, and demographics.
Membership Retention Efforts
- Design and execute initiatives to improve member retention rates, including renewal campaigns and personalized engagement efforts.
- Coordinate member feedback mechanisms (e.g., surveys, interviews) to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure member needs are integrated into association programming and offerings.
Membership Events Coordination
- Plan and execute member-focused events such as networking sessions, educational workshops, and appreciation activities.
- Partner with the events or marketing teams to promote attendance and engagement.
- Evaluate the success of membership events and implement improvements based on feedback.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and program teams to align membership goals with broader association objectives.
- Contribute to the development of member-focused marketing materials, including newsletters, brochures, and social media content.
Other Duties as Assigned
- Support the executive leadership team with special projects related to the association's strategic goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in membership management to bring innovative ideas to the association.
