Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter.
- Perform repairs on hot and/or cold food restaurant equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on equipment.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment as required.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
