Position Requirements
- DOT Certification Needed
- Two years of experience as a crew leader or foreman
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Proven experience and excellence as a trimmer with the company
- Expertise in knots used in line clearing
- Proficiency with chainsaws and hydraulic saws
- Experience working around energized power lines
- Ability to perform proper cuts and understand the function of bucket trucks and chippers
- Strong communication skills with customers and employees
- Willingness to travel for extended periods, often on short notice (generally weather-driven)
- Ability to work 10-hour days and a minimum of 40 hours per week, with storm-related jobs requiring up to 16 hours per day
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 pounds to shoulder height
- Flexibility to squat and bend
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to pull body weight up 20 feet and climb trees
- Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions
- Must not exceed the weight limit for a hydraulic bucket
Rate of Pay
- Hourly Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour, paid weekly
- Pay rate is dependent on experience
