Trimmer Summary:
The Trimmer is responsible for performing tree trimming and pruning services to maintain the health, appearance, and safety of trees on residential and commercial properties. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to remove dead or overgrown branches, shape trees, and ensure proper tree growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Trim, prune, and shape trees by removing dead, damaged, or overgrown branches to promote healthy growth.
- Safely use hand tools, chainsaws, pole saws, and other equipment to complete trimming tasks.
- Assess trees for potential hazards, such as weak or unstable limbs, and address them as needed.
- Ensure all trimming and pruning work is done according to industry standards and client specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure personal and team safety during operations.
- Assist in the removal of tree limbs or sections when necessary, ensuring proper handling and disposal of debris.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tree trimming, landscaping, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work at heights or in challenging conditions (climbing may be required for certain tasks).
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials or equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Crawl height – 2’ (Required to be able to crawl under a 2’ crawl space.)
- Small space/hole – 2.5’ wide (Required to be able to fit through a 2.5’ wide crawl space.)
- Max weight single hand – 30lbs (Required to be able to lift up to 30 lbs with a single hand.)
