Summary
The Fleet Courier will be under the direct supervision of the Fleet Manager. His/her primary responsible will be to provide delivery services for the Fleet Division. This position requires frequent driving trips to pick up parts, supplies and equipment. There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Starting Pay: $20.81 per hour (additional pay depending on experience)
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Help re-stock shelves at the request of the Parts Specialist.
- Clean and maintain work area in and around the shop facility.
- Emptying garbage cans.
- Washing and vacuum vehicles.
- Pick-up and return parts as needed.
- Shuttle vehicles to and from outside vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have the ability to find addresses in the Salt Lake valley.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must possess a valid Utah drivers license.
- Must possess a forklift certification and have at least 6 months hands-on experience operating a forklift.
Technical Skills
- Basic computer skills and experience in the use of computerized inventory control software preferred.
- Ability to use a radio/cell phone communication system effectively.
Language Skills
- Ability to understand, read, write and speak fluently in the English language.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Personal/Social Skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, and vendors.
