Job Summary:
Deliver exceptional customer service for the Food and Beverage operations at the City's Golf Course restaurants and banquet rooms. Promote, expand, and enhance golfing outings, banquets, wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, and other events requiring food and beverage services.
Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour tips
FLSA: Non-exempt
Schedule: Part-time, less than 30 hours per week. Flexible schedule required including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverage items.
- Take accurate orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor guests' needs and promptly address any requests or concerns.
- Clear and reset tables between courses and after meals.
- Prepare tables for service, including setting up linens, silverware, and glassware.
- Assist with the setting up and breakdown of banquet rooms for events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and banquet areas.
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and operate the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure seamless service during events.
- Handle special dietary requests and accommodate guests with allergies.
- Perform side work and cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or banquet setting preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must have or be able to obtain appropriate food handling certifications.
- Able to obtain current alcohol service certifications and training, preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage items.
