Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Job Details MRI Tech for West Valley Hospital Education : Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT) Bachelors or Associates degree preferred. Experience : 1 year experience as RT, RDMS or CNMT preferred. Special knowledge, skills, & abilities : Must be capable of operating state of the art MRI equipment and computer systems, film processors, and other technical supportive devices. Must have good interpersonal communication skills; appropriate manner, conduct and grooming. Must have the ability to hold in confidence any information about patients, personnel or other information of a confidential nature. Job Requirements Must be licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) as a licensed practitioner of MRI (temporary license is acceptable) BLS from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire. Schedule Information SAT 0630-1900 SUN 0630-1900 Additional Details Clear copy of drivers license required. If drivers license is unavailable, a passport or state ID can be used in its place.
