Job Summary:
As a Nurse Extern, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing various delegated tasks under the guidance of licensed nurses. Your primary responsibilities will include providing support with patient mobility, responding to patient requests, and participating in the implementation of nursing care plans.
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of a basic Nursing fundamentals course is required
- 1 or more years of nursing school completed is preferred
- Nurse Apprentice State of Idaho Board of Nursing Approval letter required
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification or obtain within 30 days of date of hire
- Current NVCI (CPI) certification or obtain within sixty days of date of hire
