What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community College Faculty Mentorship Program position at West Valley-Mission Community College District?
Assignment
Selected interns will be placed at either Mission College or West Valley College, where they will work alongside experienced faculty members. Participants will engage in a structured learning process, observing classroom dynamics, participating in mentor meetings, and attending workshops on topics such as equity-driven teaching and student engagement strategies.
Interns will also have opportunities to engage in College Governance & Community Networking, presenting key learning outcomes at the end of the semester and participating in mock interviews for future faculty roles.
