Information Technology Technician I

 Summary of Position:

The Information Technology Technician will support IT Helpdesk needs as well as routine system setup and maintenance. This person will also assist the IT Manager with the development, implementation, and administration of the company’s critical information systems and information technology assets. Reports to the Scotts Valley, California headquarters and will report to the IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

•            Enhances corporate effectiveness and efficiency by providing helpdesk support for network, hardware, and software tasks and issues relating IT equipment and key corporate systems.

•            Verifies corporate systems quality by conducting system updates and maintenance of applications implemented.

•            Assist in planning and development of system integrations and corporate processes.

Required Education/Experience:

•            Bachelor’s Degree (Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related preferred)

•            Minimum 2 years IT experience supporting and operating Windows domain based networks.

•            Background in systems administration and support of Office 365

•            Experience with cloud based SAP systems.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

•            Candidate must be able to sit for long periods of time to perform duties, and to walk around and make inquiries from other staff and management as needed

•            The employee must be able to use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.

•            Must be able to bend or stoop down to access equipment, including lifting of items or objects up to 10 lbs.
