What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Associate position at West Village Market & Deli?
West Village Market is looking for someone to stock and receive our products. This would require a very detail oriented person, who is organized, self motivated and has good listening skills. They would work closely the buyers to help facilitate purchasing by keeping inventory well-organized and the stock area tidy. They also would be responsible for signage; ensuring everything is tagged and signs are neatly displayed.
The position would require working with a team to receive a large truck once a week. You must have good communication skills, be able to work quickly & efficiently, lift up to 50 pounds and climb a 3-step ladder.
On the other days of the week you would be working independently and would need to maintain focus and follow-through on requests from head buyer.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
