Substitute Teacher/Long Term Substitute Teacher
At Grant County School District, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to fill the role of Substitute Teacher/Long Term Substitute Teacher.
The successful candidate will have a WV Professional Teaching Certificate or Long Term Sub permit, as well as the ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach students in grades K-12
* Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
* Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Additional Requirements:
* Recent unsatisfactory evaluations or interview performance will result in ineligibility for consideration
* Applicants who have been dismissed or had their contracts non-renewed for cause by another school district are not eligible for consideration
Work Environment:
* This is a temporary position until filled by a full-time employee
