Co-Curricular Student Council Advisor

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 2025-2026 Term

SALARY: Annual Supplement: $250

QUALIFICATIONS: Certified as a teacher by the West Virginia Board of Education.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise student council activities whenever they occur, within or outside of school.
2. Serve as an advisor to the Student council in the conduct of their activities.
3. Assure that school rules and policies are enforced as they relate to student council activities.
4. Supervise the selection of student council members.
5. Establish and maintain an efficient record keeping system.
6. Foster a climate conducive to learning.
7. Promote and maintain positive pupil/teacher/administration relationships.
8. Perform other job related duties as assigned by the principal.
