Passage of WV State Competency Test for Aide. Holds or has held the classification for Aide. Depending on qualifications: Aide II-High School Diploma or GED. Aide III-Six (6) hours of college credit at an institution of higher Learning. Aide IV-completed 18 hours of college.
Job Description: The Early Childhood Assistant Teacher or Aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the regular classroom teacher. Grade level to be assigned at the discretion of teh principal.
Qualifications: Holds a high school diploma or GED.
Holds “Aide” classification.
Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
Holds valid CPR and first aid cards.
To qualify for the Early Childhood Assistant Teacher classification, the successful candidate must hold ECCAT authorization from teh WVDE or must agree to complete a Temporary or Permanent Authorization endorsed for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher.**
Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE Salary Schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
