POSITION 25S83 TITLE: Summer Paint Crew (Up to 15 positions)
LOCATION: Countywide
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. School exterior/interior painting, storage barn exterior painting, stadium painting, painting roof units, painting backstops and fences, and painting curbs.
2. It shall be the duty of the summer employee to follow standard procedures in making repairs and operating equipment.
3. Report to the maintenance supervisor any defects discovered while working on the projects
4. Keep his/her work area clean, safe, and sanitary for all individuals to work in
5. Follow safety procedures for the job being performed
6. Wear and use safety equipment appropriate to the job assignment
7. Maintain positive work habits
8. Perform duties efficiently and productively
9. Assignments will be determined by the maintenance supervisor and may involve inside and/or outside work.
10. Perform all other tasks as may be assigned by the maintenance supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: As determined by crew assignment.
EMPLOYMENT TERM: Eight hours per workday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Minimum 20 days / maximum 25 days between July 7, 2025, and August 8, 2025, as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor. Must not conflict with full-time regular contracted workdays.
SALARY: Salary based on experience and education level per MCS BOE salary schedule located at https://boe.mars.k12.wv.us/mcs-salary/. Pay grade B.
