- Holds valid West Virginia Teacher Certification/Licensure in Elementary Education for grades K-4 or K-6.

- Ability to communicate effectively with students, school personnel and parents.

- Ability to motivate students and get them excited about learning.
- Provide high quality instruction and support to students who are at risk in Reading/Language Arts and Math

- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff and parents to share knowledge, convey program goals, develop skills, and implement the intervention process.
- Foster a classroom climate conducive to learning.

LOCATION: West Taylor Elementary School
EMPLOYMENT TERM: 16 hours in May and June (TBD); July 7 – August 7, 2025 Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISORS: School Administrator and County Curriculum Director
SALARY: $30 per hour stipend
