What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer School Site Supervisor position at West Virginia Department of Education?
- Oversee the Implementation of STC Summer Camp Program: With input from school administrators and distribute and collect enrollment forms for participation in summer programming.
- Meet requirements of the respective grants
- Collect data including attendance and academic growth
- Collaborate with administrators and partners
- Develop and monitor schedules,
- Report immediately any concerns to Summer Program Administrator
- Request supplies
- Prepare weekly public relations correspondences
- Other duties as assigned
- Work with program staff (if applicable) to organize children into groups of fifteen based on grade levels, reading levels and behavior management concerns
- Communicate regularly with the Program Specialist
- Ensure that all children have been contacted within first week of program start date to confirm enrollment in the program.
- Assist program staff in engaging/supporting families.
- Facilitate incentive programs developed for children and families.
- Complete a weekly Planning Template to outline specific practices and activities to be conducted throughout each week.
- Enter all data in partner database, CCS WVEIS and Summer TEAMS
