Hopemont Hospital is a state-operated, long term care facility located in Terra Alta, WV.

General Description
This position will oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within a long term care facility.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Develop resident care programs, policies, and procedures within the organization to include outlining the assessment, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care while maintaining authority, accountability, and responsibility for nursing services in a long-term facility.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines.
- Monitor resident outcomes and make necessary adjustments to improve quality of care.
- Stay up-to-date with current medical practices, advancements, and technologies.
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of nursing services.
- Perform related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Licensure/Certifications: Current West Virginia license as a registered nurse.
Experience: Six (6) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in nursing.
