The Transportation Financial Trainee will report to the District Comptroller Office. This position serves at the trainee level and trains toward the ability to work at full performance level accounting support duties. Job assignments are designed to develop familiarity with basic accounting and office procedures such as calculating, coding, reviewing, and sorting. Performs related work as required.Pay Grade 8
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsible for scanning and maintaining filesReceives, sorts, and distributes incoming and outgoing mailTypes a variety of documents from verbal or written instructionMay keep a log of items received and sentAnswers telephone, screen calls, takes messages and complaints and gives information to the caller regarding the services and procedures of the organizational unitOperates office equipment such as computer, adding machine, copier, fax machine or other office equipmentTravel may be required; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required
