Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist (PT, DPT, RPT) is responsible for:
- Evaluating patient functional status and physical therapy needs, assisting the physician in developing the therapy plan of care.
- Observing and reporting patient response to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
- Treating patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.
- Instructing and informing participating members of the healthcare team, patient, and family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
Licensure Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of West Virginia.
- Have current CPR certification.
- Be able to provide proof of a current driver's license and vehicle insurance.
