Position Summary: Provides intraoperative care during surgical procedures in areas of specialization as defined by the department while using sterile and aseptic techniques. Provides emergency services on call. Participates and is engaged in a team environment while providing care to patients in a potentially high stress situation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, completion of a Surgical Technology program, completion of a Registered Nurse program, or Completion of summer surgical tech extern program OR; High School Diploma or Equivalent AND Two (2) years of previous scrub experience.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
