Provides individual, group, family and conjoint therapy. Provides psychological evaluations, testing, reports and expert testimony in legal proceedings including probable cause and commitment hearings. Provides clinical supervision and consultation to other staff. Participates in the planning and implementation of yearly goals, quality assurance, peer review and treatment philosophy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) or Doctoral degree (Ph.D.)2. Licensed as a psychologist in the state of WV, or applicable state where services will be performed.3. West Virginia state and Federal criminal background check required for DHHR WV CARES regulated areaEXPERIENCE:1. One year of patient care experience (can include practicum and internship experience)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Advanced Continuing education in clinical areas
EXPERIENCE:
1. Two years of patient care experience
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Provides direct clinical intervention services to individuals, couples, families and groups2. Provides psychological testing, evaluation, services, reports, and expert testimony in legal proceedings including probable cause and commitment hearings.3. Completes all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner (e.g. case notes, reports, intakes, terminations, treatment plans, etc.4. Responsible for preparation and monitoring of individual client behavior plans. Responsible for oversight of the preparation and monitoring of client behavior management plans. Evaluates client progress in achieving behavior management plan objectives. Supervises the implementation of behavior management plans5. Collaborates with psychiatrist and other specialists in developing treatment programs for clients6. Provides case consultation. Attends client team meetings as requested.7. Maintains or exceeds performance standards set by administrative team.8. Applies for and maintains the highest level of licensure or certification for which (s)he is eligible. Assures continuation of such by acquiring the minimum number of hours of training or CEUs necessary to retain such licensure or certification.9. Establishes a knowledge of appropriate codes and keeps abreast of changes in order to maximize billing.10. Completes and maintains the quantity and quality of documentation necessary to meet regulatory and organizational requirements11. Arranges for, documents and maintains participation in clinical supervision. Provides clinical supervision as requested.

1. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents2. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.3. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format but contain original ideas.4. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors5. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.6. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.7. Ability to deal with non verbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
