Description
The Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cell Biology is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Laboratory Technician. This position will work in Dr. Tracy Liu's laboratory in the afternoons to support research on tumor-immune interactions, with a focus on immunotherapy and imaging.
What You'll Do
- Maintaining the organization and inventory of the lab,
- Performing genotyping
- Processing and reconciling invoices to ensure accurate records
Pay Grade : 10
Length of Assignment : Approximately 8.5 months
Work Hours : Varies - afternoon 12 : 00-4 : 00
Qualifications
Basic wet lab techniques such as PCR, cell culture, pipetting, and preparing reagents is an asset but not required.
